A Rockledge utility bill can involve two cities

Cocoa supplies Rockledge drinking water and handles billing, while Rockledge operates the local wastewater system.

A Rockledge utility bill can make two city systems look like one.

Cocoa supplies drinking water to Rockledge, while Rockledge runs the local sewer system. These two jobs meet on the bill. At a 2025 public meeting, the Rockledge mayor confirmed that Cocoa handles the billing.

The split matters when service fails. Start with Cocoa for a water outage, boil notice, meter, or account problem. Call Rockledge for a sewer backup or a flashing light at a city sewer lift station.

The sewer-credit form shows how the two sides meet. Rockledge asks for the Cocoa account number and recent Cocoa water bills. The city uses that water record when it reviews a sewer credit.

Keep both city names with the bill. Then a leak or storm is less likely to send the first call to the wrong office.

The bill is one document, but the repair crews and notice pages are not.
