SunRail makes the I-4 corridor easier to read

SunRail gives Central Florida a weekday rail spine from DeLand through Orlando toward Poinciana.

Central Florida can feel like a long string of separate places until you look at the rail line.

SunRail runs through the I-4 corridor from DeLand and DeBary through Sanford, Lake Mary, Winter Park, Orlando, Kissimmee, and Poinciana. The station map crosses Volusia, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola counties. It helps explain how the metro area fits together beyond the highway.

It is not a full car replacement for every household. Service is weekday-focused. Each station still has a parking, bike, bus, trolley, or local connection question. For some commutes, event trips, hospital visits, school trips, or downtown errands, it can change how a route feels.

Check the station map, direction, schedule, and last train before you plan around it. Then look at the first-mile and last-mile piece: walking, parking, bus, rideshare, or a pickup. The rail line helps most when the whole trip is checked, not just the station name.
