Downtown Orlando parking is an event-day check

Downtown Orlando parking can change with events, garages, meters, private lots, road closures, and the reason for the trip.

Downtown Orlando can feel simple on a quiet afternoon and very different on an event night.

The courthouse, Lake Eola, Dr. Phillips Center, Kia Center, restaurants, clubs, offices, and festivals can all pull cars into the same small area. Garages, meters, private lots, street closures, and event pricing may change the best choice.

Before you drive in, check the City of Orlando parking information and the event location. Decide whether you want a garage, meter, rideshare, SunRail, LYNX, or a longer walk. If the trip is for court, work, or a timed appointment, leave a wider cushion than you think.

For a night out, the parking plan is part of the safety plan too. Know where you left the car, how late the garage works, and how you will get back without wandering. A screenshot can help if cell service gets slow after an event.
