Florida service-center trips start with the county page

Florida license, title, tag, and ID errands can run through different local counters, so the county page belongs before the appointment.

Florida motor-vehicle errands can look like one big DMV errand from the outside. Once you start, the counter can depend on the county and the service.

Driver license, ID card, title, registration, plate, review, and clerk questions can point to different places. Some counties use tax collector offices for many services. Some offices ask for appointments. Some simple renewals or replacements may work online through MyDMV Portal instead.

That is why the county page belongs before the car keys. A Miami license errand, an Orlando title question, a Tampa registration renewal, and a Palm Beach appointment may not work the same way.

Before you go, check the FLHSMV locations page for the county. Then open the local office page linked there. Look for appointment rules, resident-only limits, service hours, title cutoffs, online options, and the papers you need to bring.

The best office trip is the boring one: right counter, right paper, right appointment, and no second drive across town.
