Florida service-center trips start with the county page

Florida license, title, tag, and ID errands can run through different local counters, so the county page belongs before the appointment.

Start a Florida license, ID, title, tag, or registration errand online. MyDMV Portal handles some renewals and replacements. For other work, the FLHSMV location list shows which offices handle driver licenses, motor vehicles, or both.

The local counter still matters when the job must be done in person. Many counties use tax collector offices. Each office may have its own hours, appointment rules, resident limits, title cutoffs, and list of papers to bring. The closest office may not handle the job you need.

Open the FLHSMV listing for your county, then follow the link to the office’s own page. Confirm the service and whether you need an appointment. Also check how you can pay and which papers you must bring. If MyDMV can finish the job, you may be able to skip the counter.

A search for the closest DMV can point to the wrong kind of office. The county page gives the visit a better start and can spare you a second trip.
