Wellington building permits start with the application
Wellington begins a building permit with the current application. After the Village creates the file, ProjectDox carries plans, reviews, corrections, and resubmittals.
The Wellington permit process starts before the ProjectDox login.
The Village first needs the current permit form. Staff opens the permit file and sends the account access. ProjectDox then carries the plans and other papers for review. Fees, review notes, fixes, and new uploads each have their own step.
Start with the address and the exact work. Use Wellington’s live form for that permit type. Keep the same email on the form and project account. Read the file-name rules before sending plans. A portal account by itself does not open a permit.
ProjectDox is one part of the building review. It does not answer every zoning, utility, code, or HOA question. A fence, room, pool, generator, or inside job can need a different set of papers. HOA approval also does not replace the Village permit.
Keep the form, permit number, receipts, approved plans, review notes, inspection results, and final closeout together. Use the current Village guide each time. Portal steps, forms, fees, and file rules can change while an old checklist stays in a drawer.
