Key West Old Town parking garage can save the circle

Key West parking is easier when drivers know the Old Town garage, transit connection, and evacuation exception before circling tight streets.

Key West is small enough to walk, but it is not always easy to park.

Old Town streets can be tight, busy, residential, and full of visitors trying to get close to the same few blocks. The Old Town Parking Garage sits at Caroline and Grinnell streets. It has 300 first-come, first-served spaces, 24-hour availability except during evacuations, and a Park N Ride setup that can include free access to city routes for people in the vehicle after payment.

That makes the garage more than a place to leave the car. It can be the calmer start to a Duval Street, Historic Seaport, courthouse, restaurant, or museum day. It can also keep visitors from treating every neighborhood curb like visitor parking.

Check the current city parking page before you drive into Old Town. Look at garage access, rates, height limits, residential permit rules, events, and weather. Once the car is parked, Key West usually makes more sense at walking speed.
