Delray Beach resident meter discounts and beach permits are separate
Delray Beach's resident discount for metered street parking is not the same as its annual beach-lot permit. Start with the kind of space you plan to use.
The word “resident” does not make these two parking programs interchangeable.
One program is a resident discount for metered on-street parking through ParkMobile. Registration happens in person. The current city page asks for identification and vehicle registration. It limits the discount to a car registered within Delray Beach city limits.
The annual beach permit is a separate choice for the beach lots named on the permit page. The regular permit does not cover parking on Ocean Boulevard or State Road A1A, and it does not cover the Gleason Street lot.
Start with the space, not the program name. For a street meter, read the resident-discount instructions. For a beach lot, read the beach-permit page and its current lot list. Check posted signs when you arrive.
Rates, eligible lots, apps, and seasonal offers can change. Neither program reserves an open space or overrides a sign, citation, closure, or event restriction.

Downtown Delray Beach, Atlantic Avenue, city-owned garages and lots, beach-area parking, and event areas. Check the city parking page before counting on a specific meter, garage, permit, or seasonal program.
