Tamarac community shuttle connects local stops to Broward routes

Tamarac's community shuttle helps local riders connect with Broward County Transit routes, Breeze service, and nearby community shuttles.

Tamarac is a good example of how South Florida transit often works in layers.

The community shuttle is not trying to be the whole county bus system. Its job is more local: connect Tamarac riders to key places in the city and to Broward County Transit routes, Breeze routes, and nearby community shuttles. That can make a normal errand or appointment easier to plan without driving the full way.

One detail is easy to miss. Google Transit Maps does not include the city’s routes, so the city brochure and shuttle page matter. A rider who only checks a general trip planner may miss the local piece.

Before using it, check the current route, stops, timetable, and transfer points. Local shuttle service is helpful, but only when the exact route is part of the plan. If the trip connects to BCT or a Breeze route, check that second schedule too so the wait does not become the whole errand.
