Punta Gorda Harborwalk keeps history on the waterfront

Punta Gorda makes more sense when you walk the edge of Charlotte Harbor.

The Harborwalk ties together water views, parks, downtown streets, public art, restaurants, and places to pause. It helps a visitor or new resident see why the city feels tied to the harbor instead of only to U.S. 41 or I-75.

Use the city map before you pick a starting point. A short stroll, a longer walk, a bike ride, a sunset stop, and a lunch plan may point you to different parking areas. Weather matters too. Shade, wind, lightning, and summer heat can change how much path you want.
