Florida salon license checks need the shop and the person

Florida cosmetology work can involve a licensed salon and a licensed or registered person, so both names are worth checking.

A Florida salon check works best when you look at the place and the person.

DBPR treats a cosmetology salon as a licensed and inspected place where licensed people do the work. Beauty services can also use different records for nail work, facial work, full specialist work, mobile salons, and other setups.

That does not mean every small suite or mobile setup is a problem. It means the name in a booking app may not tell the whole story. Search the shop name first. Then search the person if the service depends on a worker license or state record.

This can help customers, booth renters, suite renters, mobile services, flea-market salons, and people opening a small beauty shop. A quick check can keep the address, service, license type, and renewal date from getting mixed together after the time is already booked.
