Florida EBT card problems need the account security lane

A Florida EBT card issue is easier to handle when the card, PIN, customer service number, MyACCESS account, and case papers are kept separate from rumors.

An EBT card problem can feel urgent. It helps to keep the next step boring and official.

Florida DCF routes card questions through EBT customer service at 1-888-356-3281. If someone reapplies for benefits and no longer has a card, or the card expired, they can use that line for help. A new card is not mailed every time a case is approved. First-time cards and replacement cards may take several business days to arrive.

Keep the card, MyACCESS login, case notices, customer service number, mailing address, and replacement request details together. Keep the PIN private. If the card is missing, damaged, expired, or not received, start with the official card path instead of a number from a text, social post, or search ad.

This is separate from food replacement after a disaster or a household loss. If both things are happening, make two small files: one for the benefit case and one for the card.
