Crestview transit now starts with RideOCT
RideOCT is the current starting point for Okaloosa County transit. Check eligibility and reserve a trip rather than relying on an old EC Rider route map.
The important difference is that this is a booked ride, not a bus you meet at an old Route 14 stop. Use the Okaloosa County Transit app or call 850-833-9168 to arrange travel in advance; a smartphone is not required.
The Transportation Disadvantaged program is for people who do not have, or cannot rely on, a personal vehicle. Age, household income, or a disability may qualify someone, but the program needs an application and supporting records. Ask about approval before counting on a ride for work or an appointment.
Once approved, check the fare and pickup window for the trip. RideOCT offers wheelchair-accessible vehicles; request that service when booking or call for help with your account.
