Crestview's EC Rider fixed-route service is ending
EC Rider will suspend Crestview's Route 14 at 7 p.m. on July 31, 2026. Dial-A-Ride and ADA services will continue for eligible residents.
EC Rider’s Route 14 still reaches Crestview, but not for long. The route is set to stop at 7 p.m. on July 31, 2026. On August 1, every EC Rider fixed route will close until further notice.
Dial-A-Ride and ADA rides will keep running. Those services have their own rules, though, and they will not replace Route 14 for every rider.
If Route 14 is part of a work, school, medical, or shopping trip, work out another way to travel before August. Check the Dial-A-Ride rules first. One program is for people whose disability keeps them from using a regular bus. Another has separate rules for some county residents based on income or age.
Applying takes time, so do not wait until the day you need a ride. EC Rider can explain the current forms and booking rules at 850-833-9168.
Plans may change again after the bus routes close. Before relying on an old map or schedule, open EC Rider’s alert and current Dial-A-Ride application for the latest details.
